Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between SBA 7(a) and SBA 504?

SBA 7(a) is the flexible option: up to $5 million for working capital, acquisitions, refinancing, equipment, or real estate, with terms up to 25 years. SBA 504 is for owner-occupied real estate and heavy equipment, combining a bank loan with a CDC loan so you bring about 10% down.

How fast can a business get funded?

Revenue-based working capital can fund in days from business bank statements, at a higher cost. Business term loans and lines of credit usually take one to three weeks. SBA loans take longer, often 30 to 90 days, but offer the lowest long-term cost.

Do I need a Social Security number for a business loan?

Many business lenders require an SSN for the personal guarantor, but some programs accept an ITIN or EIN-based structures depending on the loan type and the owner's documentation. Tell us your setup and we will match you to the lenders that fit.
